Golden Curls Willow (Salix sepulcralis 'Erythroflexuosa') is one of the most distinctive ornamental willows, prized for its gracefully twisted golden-yellow stems that add movement, texture, and year-round interest to the landscape. Its elegant corkscrew branches are highly valued by florists for fresh and dried arrangements, seasonal décor, and sculptural displays.
A fast-growing willow, it is ideal for adding ornamental value to the garden. It naturally develops an upright trunk with an attractive oval to rounded crown, while its younger branches arch gracefully, curling and twisting as they grow. In winter and early spring, the young stems glow a brilliant golden yellow before maturing to warm bronze-gold through the growing season.
A hybrid between the Corkscrew Willow (Salix matsudana 'Tortuosa') and the Golden Weeping Willow (Salix alba 'Tristis'), 'Erythroflexuosa' combines the best qualities of both parents, offering graceful form, vibrant winter colour, and exceptional ornamental appeal.
